The Mortal Pond

       The Mortal Pond is the fifth Wonder that the Fairy Circle created for the purpose of providing aid. It is located inside a rocky formation in the middle of the Dead Sea Desert northeast of the former People's Empire. The Mortal Pond is actually a lush oasis with fruit- and nut-producing plant-life. It is difficult to find this oasis in the sense that the entrance is an optical illusion and blends in with the rest of the rock formation. Should one survive the Dead Sea Desert long enough to reach the location, s/he must search tirelessly for the entrance, or perhaps await a sandstorm to reveal it.

          The Mortal Pond has two uses: the first being that it reflects one's personality/heart rather than his/her physical appearance. Second, so long as one's reflection isn't hideous and/or frightening, one may drink from the pond and the water will heal all ailments, even those which are unknown. If one's appearance is hideous and/or frightening and s/he drinks from the pond, the water will kill him/her. The Fairy Circle doesn't often include death as a result of their wonders, however with this one, the pond catches evil individuals red-handed in a sense, and rids the world of them.
